Show Me The Way.

Dear Papa,
Who am I? Why am I here? What do you want me to do? These questions keep flooding my mind each day. The story in the Bible of Mary and Martha shows that life is not about being busy but choosing the ONE thing that truly matters. Why do I feel so out of purpose when I am not busy? Your Word says You give Your beloved rest, I really need that. You do not expect me to have it all figured out. You’re walking with me one day at a time. In You, the process is more important than the destination. All You desire is that I seek You and yearn to do Your will at all times.
When all goes crazy around me, You are my solitude, my refuge, and hiding place. Creation displays Your beauty and splendor. The world was made by You and I get to call You Papa! It is only in You I can discover who You have truly made me. It is only in You that I can know Your heartbeat for this world and the role I have to play in Your grand eternal plan.  I may not get it right all the time but show me what it means to make every second count. Show me what it means to always be in alignment with Your will and in constant communion with Your Spirit…
O, Your Spirit brings me joy and peace. He opens my eyes to see that I am loved by You no matter what! It’s so overwhelming to know that the good days, the not so good days and the heart-wrenching days are all part of Your grand plan of shaping me into who You made me to be before the world began. You use these experiences to demonstrate Your unending love. The enemy does not want me to live in the understanding that I am loved by You and nothing can separate me from Your love. Teach me sweet Spirit, what it means to be aware of the Father’s love all day long. I need You more each day.
Papa, may my response to Your call always be YES! Mountain high and valley low, may I never lose sight of Your unfailing love. Through the trials and tests of life, may I always understand that I exist to give You pleasure. May strength and grace be multiplied when temptations come my way.Purpose can only be found in You. May I always be found in You. I love You💓!

Dear Papa, I tried… I really did! You know it’s been a struggle to stay away but I guess it’s true that a leopard cannot change it’ s spots. I thought these desires were supposed to be dead. Am I not crucified with Christ? So why are these thoughts engulfing my mind and why can’t I stop these desires? People seem to have a formula for what I need to do and what I need to change but they can’t see the war that is brewing in my heart and mind. The thoughts flood in like a tsunami and I feel like I’m about to lose control. Who can help me? Who can save me? It looks like there’s no way out! Am I truly more than a conqueror? Do you know that this is the bank with the most assets? It is the wealthiest bank on earth. The product this bank trades in is frequently on the lips of many but only a few are willing to either invest in it or withdraw from it. It is full of many unsaid “I love yous”. Calls that were never made and messages that were never sent. Visits that never happened, and many regrets and unspoken words are locked away in it. This bank only thrives when the measure of deposits is equal to the measure of withdrawals.  The truest intention of the Father for anyone who has an account in this bank is bankruptcy… I guess this is one of those ‘using the foolish things of this world to confound the wise’ phenomena. The only way we can understand this is to come to the realization that we cannot love others if God has not empowered us to do so.
